WHY ME

Trust me, I've been where you've been!

I know what it's like to feel tired and overwhelmed, searching for years to find that perfect career or business that would fulfill the sense of passion and purpose I had longed to experience my whole life. It wasn't until I realized I was looking in all the wrong places... seeking the passions of others instead of asking what I truly dreamed, desired, and wanted to experience in life... that I was finally able to begin starting to experience anything close to what I longed for.

The truth? 

I recognized that my ambition to make a difference and create big things in my life wasn't going to get me anywhere unless it was grounded in my authentic self. But since I'd spent years trying to be everyone else's version of happy and successful, I didn't even have a clue what was authentically ME anymore. I was so burnt out from figuring it out, that I moved back into my childhood bedroom at the age of 30 and spent the next three years practically in hiding battling depression, weight gain/loss, and crippling anxiety (including three trips to the Emergency Room for what ended up being anxiety attacks). 

When my Mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, I finally woke up.

I recognized just how short and precious life really is, and I vowed to honor her legacy by seeking to live life how she did: with a deep love for her career, and a true sense of exuberance and joy around life. I stopped trying to seek answers on my own, and hired a coach to help support me in figuring it all out. Almost immediately, everything began to change.

At the end of the day...

I know the pain that comes from living in confusion, but I also know the joy of finally knowing that I am doing exactly what I was put on this earth to do. I also know the difference between living someone else's version of myself (and quite frankly, success in my business), and actually living the authentic ME.

Through all of it, what I've come to know is that life is meant to be lived and lived well! My passion and purpose is to support you in doing just that through this retreat experience.
